The Most Effective Cigarette Craving "Crusher" begins with "C"

Day two. Still cigarette-free and officially about 60 hours in as I write this post.

I’m still in my nicotine detox phase so everything I’m currently taking is intended to help my body eliminate nicotine and heavy metals, restore common vitamin and mineral deficiencies in smokers, offset changes in the gut and boost red blood cell health.

I’m still eating healthy but also not limiting what I eat at all. I’m snacking a lot on sesame seed sticks, celery, dried cranberries, dark chocolate, and by the way - even though I have bone broth in my detox list - I just can’t do it. I tried it last night and I hate the taste.

The worst side effects I’ve had so far are irritability (just don’t get me started on anything lol) and of course cravings. The chromium I take is like a “cravings-killer.” I took 3 throughout the day and with the last one around 4:30 pm, I added inositol which also helped. This is my first time taking inositol and I really like it, very zen-like, and with the chromium, it zaps the cravings. The early evening hours are generally when I would give in to a craving so I can see this becoming a daily thing.

The other thing that’s been helping me with cravings is my strawberry-flavored B12 vape. So here’s what I’ve been doing, in the morning, I make my coffee and go to my patio where I would smoke and catch up on emails and such on my phone and instead I just sip my coffee and puff on the strawberry vape a few times. It’s kind of nice. Because it’s not burning, there’s no pressure to “take a drag” before it burns out, so I find it’s like I take a few puffs from it - but it’s nothing like how many drags I would take off a cigarette. It helps to get me through the workday because it gives me a thoughtless way to take a break from work and helps me crush a craving. If you’ve never tried one, the inhale feels/tastes like a super light hookah inhale, kinda reminds me of being on a beach in Thailand or somewhere like that.

The last thing I’ll say and this is probably because I’ve tried quitting so many times, but I’m also at a point where I can feel a craving coming before I even have one. It kind of feels like getting hungry - anyway, if I feel I’m close to that point I take chromium and it generally passes without focusing on it too much.

Chromium is definitely a game-changer when it comes to cravings - just make sure you get the elemental form or it may not have the same helpful effect - this is the one I use it’s cheap and worth every penny.
