Everyone knows that omegas are super healthy for you, and the list of proven health benefits is long. Fatty acids (EPA and DHA) help to improve heart health and cardiovascular health, improve blood circulation, is good for your skin and may even help treat depression. It’s also essential for your body to produce ATP which fuels metabolism.
In addition to all that (and whatever you can find on google); omega-3’s also good for your gut, improving absorption of nutrients from foods and supplements when taken together. Which is why I always take my omega-3 with my multivitamin everyday at lunch.
I go with a high quality supplement for omega-3 and feel like this brand is the best in the pack because it has high levels of EPA and DHA, you only have to take one to get the amount and it doesn’t have a fish taste.
If you can’t take omega-3 or fish oil you can take alpha lipoic acid (ALA) which is antioxidant your body can convert to EPA and DHA.
Omega-3 is essential for your body to produce
Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) for metabolism
